- Channel Studio: Fill the channel with gems on start, and allow us to fill the channel with gems just setting the gap between gems.
Minor Bugs
- Animation Studio: Sometimes crashes while computing the video. Fixed!
- Raster To Vector: Crashes if you click on the preview button while is computing curves. Fixed!
- Place Curve on 1 Rail: Crash if the geometry is invalid. Fixed!
- Cabochon Studio: Error adding cabochons by points, fixed!
- Dynamic Profile: If you add a profile when the rail curve has been removed RhinoGold Crashes. Fixed!
- Automatic Pave: Error adding prongs fixed.
- Content Manager: Error selecting objects from the object browser, fixed!
- Chanel Studio: Now you can add more gems!
- Extrude Surface to point: Error in RhinoGold UI, fixed.
- Offset in out: Now you can make the offset just in one side.
- Smart Curve: Now works with the CPlane instead the WorldXY Plane.
- Bezel Presets: Error saving presets, fixed!
- Prongs: prongs created with symmetry gets flipped.
- Ring Size Creator: Error if you try to set a 180 degrees opening angle.
- Gems by 2 curves: Now add the gems to the current layer!
- Average 2 curves on surface: Bad localization in some languages, fixed.
- In some computers, some the commands that involve gems could crash. Now it’s fixed.
- Other minor bugs fixed.
To update, just run RhinoGold 4.0 and click on Update button.

Three Day Class on June 19th-21st
This comprehensive three day class covers all aspects of RhinoGold 4.0 and the new tools within Rhino 5.0 and Clayoo for Rhino.
This course is aimed at jewellery professionals with a good basic knowledge of Rhino and trainees should have ideally completed the Level 1 training.
Starting with an overview and an introduction to the RhinoGold user interface, the class then progresses with a project based approach. Trainees will work through six separate jewellery projects each of which utilises a specific RhinoGold workflow.

- Gauge: The browser shows the size and the region
- Texture 3D: Allows to select a surface in a solid and replace it with the new texture surface.

We're glad to announce a series of Trainings in Sydney and Melbourne for this May! Take advantage and become a RG4 user NOW!
RhinoGold 4.0 Essentials – Training for Beginners“ is conducted in a classroom environment (4-6 people) via a data-projector. Training is 7-hours per day (14-hours total). This is the best option for beginners as we cover most functions including some of the more advanced commands, and we work through tutorials and exercises.
This course is designed to reduce the learning curve, and enable jewellers to use RhinoGOLD software to quickly design in 3D, produce high-quality renderings, and create pieces which can be cast in precious metals such as gold or platinum. Attendees should be comfortable in the MS-Windows Environment. Any previous experience in 2D or 3D CAD is helpful, but not necessary as this class is tailored for beginners.
You will require your own laptop running Windows 7/8. Students with Apple notebooks will require Windows 7/8 installed via Boot Camp or Parallels. If you do not have a laptop, please state that in the form below and we can advise you of the cost to hire a PC/Laptop for the 2-days training.
